    Survey suggests Poles anticipate ruling party winning election

    An opinion poll published in the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna newspaper on Monday revealed that 52% of Poles think that Poland’s ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party will come out victorious in the upcoming elections.

    Over 90% of the respondents said PiS would form the post-election government, either alone or with a coalition partner.

    The survey showed that 27% of those polled thought the Civic Coalition (KO) would win the election, while 3% said Poland 2050 would be victorious. Less than 1% named other opposition groupings.

    In autumn 2023, Poland will be holding their general elections.

    A random sample of 1,000 adult Poles was surveyed using a computer-assisted method between March 3 and 5.
