“Negotiations on the peace plan for Ukraine will continue until late tonight. It is important that the team of U.S. President Donald Trump hears us,” said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday evening. “A lot is changing: we are working very carefully on the steps needed to end the war,” he added.

The President of Ukraine said that Saturday had been a day of many meetings and discussions. “Practically since the morning – phone calls, briefings, consultations. The Ukrainian delegation in Geneva has already held a series of meetings: with the American side, as well as with our European partners. Just moments ago, the delegation reported on the talks held so far, and these were substantive discussions,” he stressed.
The head of the Ukrainian state emphasized that he wants the actions leading to the end of the war with Russia to be carried out. “Ukraine never wanted war and will never stand in the way of peace. Diplomacy has been revived – and that is good. We count on proper actions to follow. The priority is lasting peace, guaranteed security, respect for our people, respect for everyone who gave their life defending Ukraine against Russian aggression,” he said.
“Tomorrow will also be no less intensive a day. We are defending Ukraine’s interests. And the strength of our position – our state position, the position of the Ukrainian nation – lies in the fact that it is a united position,” Zelensky declared.
