Michael W. Smith is one of the most recognisable and influential artists in contemporary CCM music. He has won countless awards. He is also a best-selling book author and actor. Over the course of his career, he has recorded 32 No. 1 hits, fourteen gold albums, and five platinum albums.
During the concert in the Arena in Gliwice, such hits as Place in this Word, Friends, and Secret Ambition sounded from the stage. Certainly, many voices in the audience joined in the performance of these songs, because millions of people around the world know them. In greater concentration and in a more personal way, listeners referred to such hits as WayMarker – absolute No. 1 in the whole Globe – or the famous Surrounde.
