Sławomir Nowak, a former Minister of Transport in Donald Tusk’s government, who has been accused of corruption, recently appeared at an event organized by the Polish Defense Industry. This prompted a strong reaction from Zbigniew Ziobro, Vice President of the Law and Justice party (PiS), who commented on platform X:
“Accused of multimillion-dollar bribes and leading an organized crime group, Sławomir Nowak shines at a Polish Defense Industry event. A man in whose car three bags of drugs were found at the border becomes the president of PZU Ukraine. The first is a friend of Donald Tusk, the second – his trusted man.”
Ziobro also highlighted the arrest of MP Dariusz Matecki, stating that Matecki is in detention not because he broke the law, but because he is not a friend of Tusk. He noted that Matecki’s “crime” was exposing Tusk’s lies online and creating a portal showcasing aggression and hatred towards believers.
Ziobro concluded by asserting that in Tusk’s “democracy-fighting” Poland, it’s not the law that decides who is free and who goes to prison – it’s Tusk. He claimed that embezzlers and dubious characters enjoy freedom, while patriots and priests are locked in dungeons.
