Threats Against Nisztor Not the End. Republika President Announces More Evidence Will Be Revealed

“We have all heard the story related to Piotr Nisztor, but unfortunately we also have other information which we will reveal in due time – perhaps very soon,” said Tomasz Sakiewicz on the air of Telewizja Republika.

The attacks on Telewizja Republika have not subsided. The station’s management is facing, among other things, the ongoing problem of intimidation directed at advertisers. Journalists carrying out their professional duties have also become targets of surveillance. The case of threats to kill Piotr Nisztor and hide his body, which were recorded on a tape involving an officer of the State Protection Service, has drawn significant attention.

The station’s president stressed that this is not the end.

Very Specific Evidence

Speaking on Telewizja Republika, Tomasz Sakiewicz described the surveillance of his stay in Monaco—during which he was meeting with one of Republika’s advertisers—as “wild determination” on the part of the services.

“We have more and more information about personal threats directed at our families and our journalists. We have all heard the story related to Piotr Nisztor, but unfortunately we also have other information which we will reveal in due time – perhaps very soon,” announced the president of Telewizja Republika.

He mentioned attempts to photograph cars and homes, as well as efforts to steal information from mobile phones.

“These are already very concrete pieces of evidence, because some of them we are able to document,” he emphasized.

“This level of attack shows that something is happening – tensions are rising in Poland,” Sakiewicz added.

He also announced that the next step would be a “move on the Constitutional Tribunal” and an attempt to force the president to sign the SAFE loan bill or introduce it illegally through the back door.
