“CONGRATULATIONS to @TomaszSakiewicz
on such a magnificent honor. Casimir Pulaski, known as the “Father of the American Cavalry” is a beloved hero in both in Poland and America and stands to this day as an enduring symbol of the centuries old US Polish alliance. He personally financed the Pulaski Legion that fought in several engagements. His famous cavalry charge at the Battle of Brandywine (September 11, 1777) saved General Washington’s Continental army from almost certain destruction. In 2009, General Casimir Pulaski was posthumously granted honorary U.S. citizenship, one of only eight people to ever receive such a high honor. CONGRATULATIONS TOMASZ!!!” wrote Rose.

“Thank you very much. I especially appreciate your congratulations because I know that you are a great friend of Poland,” replied Tomasz Sakiewicz.
