Tour de Pologne 2023 is set to be an exceptional event as it marks 30 years since Czesław Lang and Lang Team began organizing Poland’s premier cycling race. This year’s edition is even more special as it celebrates its 80th lap around the country, commemorating an impressive 95-year legacy. The race has become a cycling festival in Poland, attracting the sport’s finest talents from around the globe.
The essence of Tour de Pologne lies in the prestigious participation it garners. Over the years, the race has seen the crème de la crème of cycling compete in the UCI World Tour era (part of the circuit since 2011). From the biggest names to rising stars, the peloton has consistently promised thrilling performances and intense rivalries, providing fans with unforgettable spectacles.
A Stellar Lineup
The 80th edition, taking place from July 29 to August 4, boasts a stellar lineup of 18 UCI World Tour teams, along with five invited squads, including the Polish national team and other international contenders. Among the top contenders are Poland’s finest, Rafał Majka (UAE Team Emirates) and Michał Kwiatkowski (Ineos Grenadiers), both former champions of Tour de Pologne. The clash between these two cycling legends promises to be a highlight of the event.
