Polish President Karol Nawrocki arrived in the United States on Saturday evening local time. On Sunday, at the invitation of President Donald Trump, who is celebrating his birthday that day, he took part in the UFC Freedom 250 gala at the White House. During the visit, he met with the U.S. leader, politicians, and members of the Polish diaspora. The ceremonies began that evening local time, at around 8 p.m.
Donald Trump will receive a gift. What is it?
During his visit to the United States, Karol Nawrocki is expected to give Donald Trump a special gift. According to Fakt, it will be a marble plaque measuring 140 by 100 centimeters and weighing more than 120 kilograms. The gift is meant to have symbolic significance and is ultimately intended to become part of a planned monument in Arlington.
According to the newspaper’s findings, the plaque was made of white marble, and its placement in the planned triumphal arch in Arlington had reportedly been agreed in advance with the U.S. administration. As Faktreports, the initiators of the project assume that similar plaques could in the future also be donated by other countries and their leaders.
The plaque will feature an English-language inscription as well as the names of Casimir Pulaski and Tadeusz Kościuszko, Poles who made major contributions to the fight for American independence. Karol Nawrocki’s name is also expected to appear among those included on the plaque. According to the newspaper, the president will also take a smaller version of the plaque with him to Washington, which he will personally present to Donald Trump.
