Trump’s Envoy on Ukraine Warns: Drones Over Poland Are a Test of the West

“If it had all happened at once, maybe you could call it an accident. But six hours of drones? That’s a test – a way to see what the West would do. And we have to respond like it’s a test,” said the U.S. President’s Special Envoy for Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg, commenting on the violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones.

General Keith Kellogg, the U.S. President’s Special Envoy for Ukraine, has no doubt that if Russia conquers Ukraine, it will then attack one of the NATO member states.

“You have to look at (Russian President Vladimir) Putin and Russia as an expansionist power. He wants to re-establish the Russian Empire – just look at history. Give him an inch, he’ll take a mile,” Kellogg said in an interview with The Telegraph.

He compared Putin’s actions to Adolf Hitler’s demands in the lead-up to World War II.

When asked about the Russian drones that crossed into Polish airspace during the night of September 9 to 10, Gen. Kellogg emphasised that “this is a test.”

“If it had all happened at once, maybe you could call it an accident. But six hours of drones? That’s a test – a way to see what the West would do. And we have to respond like it’s a test,” said the U.S. President’s Special Envoy.

Gen. Keith Kellogg also underlined that Donald Trump is angry about being misled by Putin. Behind closed doors, President Trump is much angrier than he is in public,” he noted.
