Among other things, he expressed immense satisfaction with Karol Nawrocki’s victory in Poland’s presidential election. “A great victory for Karol Nawrocki in Poland. He will be a great president! France Instead of the USA?
TV Republika journalist Adrian Borecki drew attention to the geopolitical and international cooperation context. “Yesterday, Deputy Foreign Minister Władysław T. Bartoszewski told me that they are now planning new energy agreements with the French. This confirms what we’ve been saying — there’s a shift coming. Donald Tusk wants to completely abandon arrangements and business with the USA in favor of France, and that’s dangerous for Poland. It may influence the behavior of both Donald Trump and Karol Nawrocki. France or Germany will not guarantee our security in the face of Russian aggression,” Borecki stated.
“Squirrels in Warsaw are talking about France in this context because things with Germany are difficult. France is supposed to be the vehicle through which some bases are to be created, nuclear umbrellas and such. It’s said to be announced in the fall, and it’s being presented as better for us than transatlantic cooperation,” added Rachoń.
