“This puts our security at risk. The only demand made by Vladimir Putin after the attack on Ukraine was for NATO and the United States to withdraw, among other places, from Poland. That is what is at stake in this game. A Polish prime minister who undermines these relations is consistently advancing reset-oriented interests,” this is how Michał Rachoń, Program Director of TV Republika, commented today on Donald Tusk’s statements to the “Financial Times”.
Michał Rachoń, Program Director of TV Republika, was summoned today to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw in connection with an investigation into the organization of the CPAC Poland conference in Rzeszów in the spring of 2025.
Earlier, the station’s president and editor-in-chief, Tomasz Sakiewicz, also appeared at the prosecutor’s office.
Rachoń arrived at the prosecutor’s office with the book “Reset”, authored by himself, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, and Grzegorz Wierzchołowski.
“This is not absurd – this is a reality described in detail in the book ‘Reset’, a book about how Tusk’s reset advocates were looting Poland after December 13, 2023. Russian methods, those of Russian special services, the use of the entire state apparatus to destroy strategic transatlantic relations – this is the main theme of the policy pursued by Donald Tusk’s crypto-dictatorship”, said the Program Director of TV Republika.
He added that he brought the book to the hearing because it is highly significant that “journalists and representatives of a media outlet are being summoned to explain before a prosecutor that, for the first time in Poland, it was possible to organize the most prestigious and important conservative conference in the world, which gained global significance thanks in part to Ronald Reagan, the U.S. president who made it possible to tear down the Iron Curtain together with the great spiritual leader St. John Paul II and Margaret Thatcher”.
“At a time when the communist Włodzimierz Czarzasty, trained in Moscow by the Komsomol for years, is Speaker of the Sejm, when the author of the reset policy Donald Tusk is Poland’s prime minister, when the deputy prime minister is Radosław Sikorski, who throughout his career built a relationship of ‘Dear Sergey, dear Radek’, and when, after taking power, these people want to conduct an investigation simply because at this very conference the U.S. Secretary of Defense announced a political decision that Poland had been striving for years to achieve – a permanent, large presence of American troops in Poland – this shows that reset advocates, people of Russia in Poland, today have such great influence that they use it even at the cost of ridicule, in order to stigmatize this matter”, he said.
Rachoń also referred to the interview with Donald Tusk published today in the “Financial Times”, in which the head of the Polish government questions the allied loyalty of the United States.
