The UN General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution calling for “building global resilience and promoting sustainable development through regional and interregional infrastructure connections.” Poland’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Krzysztof Szczerski, said that months of negotiations were behind the Assembly’s decision, and its outcome has significance for the entire United Nations system.
