    Unexplained outbreak of Legionella disease in south-east Poland kills 11, hospitalises 114

    The number of deaths caused by a Legionella pneumophila outbreak in the southeastern city of Rzeszow has risen to eleven, the State Provincial Sanitary Inspectorate said on Monday. The 11, health officials said, were all suffering from other illnesses. At the same time, the number of people hospitalised in Rzeszow and neighbouring towns due to the outbreak rose to 144.
