Unique vernissage of Sławomir Łosowski’s drawings in Warsaw

Sławomir Łosowski is renowned as a musician, composer and leader of the iconic band ‘Kombi’, credited with creating their recognisable style and sound and composing their greatest hits such as “Słodkiego miłego życia,” “Kochać cię za późno,” “Nietykalni,” “Przytul mnie,” “Taniec w słońcu,” and many others. In addition to his musical talents, Łosowski is also an accomplished artist, and his drawings will be exhibited in Warsaw on Thursday.

Sławomir Łosowski has been drawing since he was three years old, most prolifically at the age of six and seven. His father, Alfons Łosowski, an artist, sculptor, painter, and draughtsman who graduated from the Stefan Batory Faculty of Fine Arts in Vilnius, selected and preserved the best drawings from this period.

Encouraging his son to draw, Łosowski provided him with paper, coloured inks and crayons. As he grew older, the urge to draw came in waves – and he mostly drew when travelling. It was a pastime that brought him joy and relaxation, and filled the days of his lonely hotel stays. His imagination often drove him to create pieces inspired by a particular person or event.

Today, drawing is still his burning passion, only surpassed by his love of music. He has held numerous solo exhibitions in galleries and was first given the chance to showcase his drawings on the compilation album ‘TABU.’ This was the opportunity of a lifetime, and he leapt at the chance to show the world his incredible talent.
