In the vibrant atmosphere of the Jazz in Albania festival, the Poznań quintet Unleashed Cooperation will perform on October 24, 2024. The concert, held at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Black Box Hall at 8:00 PM, is part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU “Around the World” project, in collaboration with the Polish Embassy in Tirana and the Albanian Jazz Society. The ensemble features Krzysztof Kuśmierek (saxophone), Patryk Rynkiewicz (trumpet), Patryk Matwiejczuk (piano), Flavio Gullotta (double bass), and Stanisław Aleksandrowicz (drums).
elebrating Cultural Exchange
Inspired by Polish traveler Paweł Edmund Strzelecki, this international concert tour showcases Polish artists across four continents. Since its inception in May 2023, the project has seen over 150 events in 21 countries. This marks the second visit of a Polish jazz group to Albania; last year, the band ZIEMIA performed in Tirana and Shkodër.
A New Musical Journey
Unleashed Cooperation will promote their latest album, “Trust,” during the concerts. The album explores contemporary and ethnic music, rooted in acoustic jazz traditions. The quintet seeks to honor jazz legends like Tomasz Stańko and Krzysztof Komeda while injecting a fresh sound into their performances.
