Unusual Knitted Christmas Tree in Poznań

Citizens of Poznań took part in the unusual action in the city and knitted a beautiful Christmas Tree together. On December 10, their work was unveiled at Kolegiacki Square.

Everyone could add their piece of fabric to the Christmas tree. The pieces were made with crochet or knitting needles. However, the dimensions of the squares needed to be 20x20cm to preserve the model. Fortunately, it was the only limitation and any colours and patterns of the pieces could be used in the composition.

Knitted Christmas Tree, textile mural and the Christmas Market at St. Bernards are a part of December cultural proposals for Poznań residents prepared by the local community, operating as part of the Garbary Coalition with the support of the Project Coordination Office of the City Hall.
