    Warsaw Hospital Honors Heroes of the Uprising with Specialized Medical Care

    Samodzielny Publiczny Szpital Kliniczny im. prof. W. Orłowskiego CMKP in Warsaw pays tribute to the courageous participants of the Warsaw Uprising by offering complimentary consultations and examinations at its specialized outpatient clinic. The hospital, under Prof. Piotr Jankowski’s leadership, organizes the “Hospital in Tribute to the Heroes of the Warsaw Uprising” initiative.


    Veterans of the Warsaw Uprising will have access to medical examinations and consultations in geriatrics, cardiology, urology, neurology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, surgery, and psychogeriatrics. Rehabilitation and physiotherapy services are available to meet the unique health needs of those aged 90 and above, even centenarians.

    To participate, individuals need a referral from their primary care physician to the geriatric outpatient clinic, outlining the specific diagnosis. The hospital’s top geriatric specialist will assess each patient’s needs and issue referrals for specific tests or specialized consultations.

    Registration is open from August 1st to September 30th, on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 11 am to 2 pm, exclusively via telephone at +48 22-573-958-501. The package includes consultations in surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine, neurology, epilepsy, geriatrics, cardiology, urology, psychology, and physiotherapy treatments.
