    Warsaw Tops the Charts for Tourism Appeal in Poland

    Warsaw has emerged as the top destination in Poland for tourism, leading in cultural attractions and overall tourism appeal, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS). The city scored a remarkable 64.2 on the Tourism Value Index (WaT), outpacing other regions in the country.

    The report highlights that Warsaw’s strength lies in its cultural assets, a trait it shares with Kraków, which ranked third with a WaT score of 54.9. These cities boast iconic landmarks, museums, and a rich historical heritage that draw visitors year-round.

    Other top-ranking areas like the Nowy Sącz County (56.6), Kłodzko County (53.2), and Nowy Targ County (52.4) excel in natural environmental features, including breathtaking landscapes and outdoor activities.

    Across Poland, 96 districts achieved high or very high WaT values, showcasing the nation’s diverse appeal. Additionally, the most attractive provinces include Małopolskie, Zachodniopomorskie, and Pomorskie, reflecting a strong mix of cultural and natural allure.
