“We condemn every act of aggression,” but… Matecki doesn’t believe in coincidences. This is how he commented on the ‘attack’ on Civic Platform

“Some lunatics threw a jar at the Czytelnik café, which is located next to the headquarters of Civic Platform (PO). Completely by chance, Witold Zembaczyński and a TVN24 camera were there immediately. The message quickly went out that this was an ‘act of terror directed at Civic Platform.’ Kierwiński immediately linked it to Robert Bąkiewicz and Law and Justice (PiS), without any knowledge (?) about the perpetrator,” wrote MP Dariusz Matecki on social media.

At the entrance to the building housing the Civic Platform headquarters, an incident took place. According to MP Witold Zembaczyński (Civic Coalition), someone allegedly tried to ignite a Molotov cocktail and throw it at the building at 12A Wiejska Street in Warsaw, where both the Civic Platform office and the Czytelnik café are located.

Cameras friendly to the current government quickly appeared on the scene, broadcasting live as Zembaczyński described it as a “political act of terror.”

The incident was commented on by MP Dariusz Matecki:

“Some lunatics threw a jar at the Czytelnik café, which is located next to the headquarters of Civic Platform. Completely by chance, Witold Zembaczyński and a TVN24 camera were there immediately. The message quickly went out that this was an ‘act of terror directed at Civic Platform (PO).’ Kierwiński immediately linked it to Robert Bąkiewicz and Law and Justice (PiS), without any knowledge (?) about the perpetrator,” he wrote, adding, “We condemn every act of aggression. It’s a pity that the other side did not condemn the mass vandalism of Law and Justice (PiS) MPs’ offices back when politicians like Zembaczyński were marching with slogans like ‘f*** PiS’ and ‘f*** them up.’”
