On November 19, 2024, the prestigious Prix Galien Poland awards honored groundbreaking achievements in medicine and pharmacy. Recognized as the “Nobel Prize of Medical Innovation,” Prix Galien celebrates those who advance healthcare and improve lives. This year’s winners were chosen by a distinguished jury led by Prof. Cezary Szczylik, with top medical experts in Poland on the panel.
Award-Winning Innovations
Winners include Eli Lilly Polska for Best Innovative Pharmaceutical Product and Sanofi Polska for Best Biotechnology Product. Novartis Poland was awarded for Rare Disease Treatments, while Adamed Pharma secured recognition for Second-Generation Products. Abbott Laboratories Poland and Medtronic Poland excelled in Medical Technologies.
The Helping Hand Mental Health Program was named Best Start-Up, and Servier Polska with MSD Polska won for Health Campaigns. Additionally, Lidia and Jerzy Owsiak received the inaugural “Pro Bono Humanum” award for humanitarian contributions.
