Wizz Air Expands Flight Network from Warsaw to Malta

Wizz Air launches daily flights from Warsaw to Malta, boosting Polish-Maltese tourism.

Wizz Air has announced a major expansion in its Warsaw to Malta route, offering daily flights starting November 11. This is the first time the airline will provide such frequent connections to Malta from Poland, giving travelers increased flexibility to enjoy the Mediterranean destination year-round.

    Rising Demand for Malta

The decision comes as a response to a growing demand from Polish travelers. In 2023, a record 167,000 Poles visited Malta, and this year, the number is expected to exceed 200,000, according to the Malta Tourism Authority.

    Strengthening Polish-Maltese Tourism

The new route is a result of collaboration between Wizz Air, Malta Tourism Authority, and Malta International Airport. The initiative aims to further boost tourism between the two countries and is expected to inspire other Polish airports to offer direct flights to Malta.

This new daily service will continue until March 2025, a significant upgrade from last year’s six weekly flights offered during the winter season.
