The first person vaccinated in Poland

The first person was vaccinated for Covid-19 in the hospital of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Warsaw. I am proud that I was chosen, Alicja Jakubowska said.

“Vaccinated against Covid-19 as the first, Mrs. Alicja Jakubowska, head nurse of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, was very brave, gained peace and a barrier against the dangerous virus,” Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Facebook.

Today, at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Warsaw, the first five people in Poland were vaccinated against COVID-19  – the head nurse of the hospital, Alicja Jakubowska, director prof. Waldemar Wierzba, paramedic Sławomir Butkiewicz, dr. Agnieszka Szarowska and diagnostician Angelika Aplas.

“Lest I only vaccinate, I will also get vaccinated,” said the doctor Agnieszka Szarowska, adding that she was definitely vaccinated because she felt it.

Szarowska explained that each vaccinated person should not leave the premises for 15 minutes after the procedure, because – as she explained – “after each new preparation, allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock may occur, therefore you have to stay in the premises under the care of staff for 15 minutes”.
