2023 UEFA European U-17 Championships: Poland won with Ireland

The Poles opened the 2023 UEFA European U-17 Championships on May 17 with a 5-1 victory over the Irish! Two goals by Mateusz Skoczylas, goals by Karol Borys, Szymon Kądziołka, and Dominik Szala, but also a lot of other goal situations for Poles in this match. Great work by the team of Marcin Wodarski! White-and-reds are focused on preparing for Saturday’s match against Hungary, which will start at 8:00 pm.

The finals will also act as UEFA's qualifier for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup from 10 November to 2 December. The five spots will be filled by the four semi-finalists, plus the winners of a play-off between the two beaten quarter-finalists with the best group stage record.
