‘It can be said that the first hunting circle in the Polish Parliament was established, because all these people were elected from other lists, from other parties,’ said Robert Biedroń, MEP and the leader of the ‘Spring’ party, on the air of Radio Wrocław.
Robert Biedroń was asked on Radio Wrocław whether he expected any politicians from the Left to join Szymon Hołownia’s movement.
– ‘Szymon Holownia has turned so far to the right. There has already been very tight on the Polish right-wing. I think that no member of the left-wing party wants to become a parliamentarian of the right-wing and sit on the right-wing of his father Szymon Hołownia, who we know as someone having very right-wing views, even though he hides them carefully, almost close to the radical Polish right-wing,’ said the politician.
The Spring leader stated that building ‘Poland 2050’ party on transfers of parliamentarians from opposition parties is a wrong way.
– ‘We can say that the first hunting circle was created in the Polish Parliament, because all these people were elected from other lists, from other parties. I think the voters are not content with these ladies’ choices, after all, they voted for a different political party. This isn’t probably a good beginning for Szymon Holownia, as it shows the worst face of politics. Playing politics by poaching and dragging parliamentarians from other clubs always ends badly’ Biedroń said.
