Polish volleyball players won with Canada in the last group match. They advanced to the quarterfinals.
Katarzyna Wasick took 5th place in the 50m freestyle final.
Anita Włodarczyk in the first throw secured her advance to the hammer throw final with the best elimination result. Malwina Kopron and Joanna Fiodorow also advanced to the final.
Sailing – Agnieszka Skrzypulec and Jolanta Ogar took 5th and 3rd places in today’s races in 470 class. Poland dropped to second place in the general classification, but only a point behind the British and 9 points ahead of third place.
Patryk Dobek won the men’s 800m semi-final and advanced to the final.

Wojciech Nowicki and Paweł Fajdek advanced to the final in the hammer throw.
Martyna Galant broke her personal record and advanced to the semi-finals of the 1500m.
Tadeusz Michalik defeated Tunisian Achouri and advanced to the quarter-finals of the Men’s Greco-Roman wrestling in the category up to 97 kg. He beat American Hancock in the quarter-finals and will compete in the semi-finals with the favorite of the competition – Evloev Musa.
Karolina Naja and Anna Pulawska took 1st place in their 500m K-2 elimination race and advanced to the semifinals.
Marta Walczykiewicz took 2nd place in her 200m K-1 elimination race and advanced to the semifinals.
Wiktor Głazunów and Tomasz Barniak finished 6th in their qualifying C-2 1000m canoe race and swam in the quarterfinals where they finished 1st and advanced to the semifinals.

Maria Andrejczyk advanced to the javelin throw final after her first attempt.
Natalia Kaczmarek advanced to the semifinals of the 400m.
Marta Walczykiewicz took 3rd place in the semifinal of K-1 in 200m and advanced to the final.
Wiktor Głazunow and Tomasz Barniak took 3rd place in the C-2 1000m semi-final and advanced to the final.
