    Polish National Parks – Biebrza National Park

    The largest of the Polish National Parks with an area of 3 936 ha under strict protection. Unique for its marshes, peatlands, and highly diversified fauna.

    Biebrza National Park is located in northeastern Poland in Podlaskie Voivodeship. It is situated along the Biebrza River. The Park was established in 1993 with a total area of 59 233 ha, which makes it the largest National Park in Poland. 

     

    It is well known for its marshes. The Park protects vast and relatively untouched fenlands with a unique variety of plants, rare wetland birds, mammals.
