Police Operation Targeting a Well-Known Journalist? “I Am Concerned”

Journalist Aleksandra Fedorska revealed on Telewizja Republika that she received a phone call from a man identifying himself as a police officer. At the same time, several plainclothes individuals reportedly arrived at her residence. Notably, the events unfolded during the evening hours.

Fedorska, who works for Radio Debata, described the incident during the Guest Today program on Telewizja Republika.

“At 6:31 p.m. this evening, I received a phone call. The man identified himself as a police officer and said he was standing outside my apartment. I am not currently at home. He told me that I was required to give a statement at the police station in connection with a very important matter,” Fedorska said.

She added:

“I told him I was away from home and asked whether the matter could be related to my professional activities. He did not rule that out. I repeatedly asked what case I was supposed to testify in, but he refused to tell me.”

According to the journalist, a neighbor later contacted her and described what she had witnessed.

“My neighbor called me after observing the situation. Three men and one woman in plain clothes entered the building where my apartment is located and headed toward my flat. I am concerned about the entire situation,” Fedorska said.

Fedorska added that she had recently been working on two stories which, in her view, could potentially be connected to the reported visit by law enforcement officers.
