Bayern Munich with Robert Lewandowski won the German Super Cup. On Tuesday, the Bavarians defeated the local Borrusia. They owe two goals to the Polish striker.
The meeting was fast-paced from the start. Lewandowski opened the score in the 4th minute by shooting the ball with his head straight into the net.
Five minutes after the break, Thomas Mueller scored an empty goal. Borrusia struck in retaliation in the 65th minute with the first goal thanks to Marco Reus. However, the last word belonged to Lewandowski, who found himself alone with the goalkeeper and thus determined the score of the match.
