    Fantastic results of Paralympic athletes. Three medals for Poland!

    Gold, silver and bronze were won today by Polish Paralympic athletes in Tokyo.  Róża Kozakowska was unrivalled in throwing the pole vault.  Second place in the 100m run in the T47 class was won by Michal Derus, and the bronze medal in the ball push was won by Lech Stoltman.

    In a phenomenal style presented Róża Kozakowska, who won the gold medal and at the same time broke the world record in the maul throw (28.74 m).

     

     
    A little earlier Lech Stoltman enjoyed his second Olympic bronze.  The Pole repeated his achievement from Rio and took the third place in the shot put competition (F55 category)

     

     

     
    The silver was won by Michal Derus. With a time of 10.61 seconds, the Pole set a European record.  The other places on the podium were taken by Brazilians.  Petrucio Ferreira dos Santos won the event (10.53) and Junior Washington was third (10.68).

     

     

     

    Derus repeated his success from five years ago, when he also took second place in Rio de Janeiro.
