Matty Cash is ready for his debut!

Matty Cash, who received Polish citizenship in October, has been called up by the coach of the Polish national team Paulo Sousa to the national team for the matches of the football World Cup qualifiers against Andorra (November 12) and Hungary (November 15).

Cash was born in Slough, near London, is of Polish origin, and is a side back who can also play as a winger. He played for Nottingham Forest until 2020, from where he moved on to Aston Villa.

In the 27-person team, there is no player from the Polish league. Arkadiusz Milik, who was ruled out of the recent European Championships by injury, returns to the national team.

However, 22-year-old FC Copenhagen goalkeeper Kamil Grabara was called up for the first time.

The winners of each group will advance directly to the World Cup in Qatar, while the runners-up will play in two-sided play-offs in March.
