    Juliusz Sienkiewicz, the grandson of the author of “Trilogy”, has passed away

    The death of Juliusz Sienkiewicz, grandson of the Nobel laureate Henryk Sienkiewicz, was reported on social media by the Museum in Koszalin, of which he was the director for many years. Juliusz Sienkiewicz was 89 years old.

    “We received the information of the death of Juliusz Sienkiewicz with great sorrow. He was associated with Koszalin and our Museum for many years,” the Koszalin cultural center reported on its Facebook profile on Tuesday.

    Juliusz Sienkiewicz, the grandson of the novelist, journalist, novelist, creator of the “Trilogy” and winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature Henryk Sienkiewicz, father of an MP, former Minister of Internal Affairs and coordinator of special services Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, died at the age of 89.

    He was an ethnographer. In 1968, he started working at the State Monument Conservation Company in Koszalin, and from 1975 he worked at the Museum. According to the institution, he first took the position of the head of the Ethnography Department, and from 1990 until his retirement in 1997, he was the director of this cultural institution.
