    The president thanked the social workers

    I would like to thank the social workers for their persistent and fruitful service, which brings so many benefits, wrote President Andrzej Duda in a letter on the occasion of Social Workers’ Day. In the Presidential Palace, special awards were presented for outstanding and innovative solutions in the field of social assistance.

    November 21 is the Day of the Social Worker, which is also the holiday of all social workers. On this occasion, the Minister of the Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, during the ceremony at the Presidential Palace, presented special awards for outstanding, innovative solutions in the field of social assistance. The letter on behalf of President Andrzej Duda was read by the Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Bogna Janke.

     

    “On behalf of the Republic of Poland, I would like to thank everyone from the heart for this exceptional service for the good of others. Daily commitment to work for the benefit of compatriots in need requires special knowledge, skills, and experience,” wrote Andrzej Duda.
