On Friday, DSc Piotr Rzymski received the Main Prize in the Popularizer of Science competition for his commitment and huge work related to the popularization of medical knowledge in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. There were also awards in the categories such as scientist, animator, institution, media and team.
The jury appreciated DSc Piotr Rzymski for clearly explaining the content of scientific publications on SARS-CoV-2 to Poles and tirelessly educating them. He has written 90 articles, and since March 2020 he has given over 700 statements to the media. He is one of the initiators of the Science Against Pandemic project. He has been popularizing science for several years.
