Dawid Kubacki received a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing. Two days earlier, the Polish ski jumper finished third in the normal hill competition. Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi was first, followed by Austrian Manuel Fettner.
The best jumpers of Sunday’s competition were awarded on Tuesday evening local time (at 1 pm in Poland). Following the sanitary regime, they all put the medals around their necks themselves.
Moments earlier, a delighted Kubacki energetically jumped on the podium and raised his hands in a gesture of triumph.
