    The Russians used vacuum bombs in Ukraine. It is forbidden under the Geneva Convention [VIDEO]

    “Russian missiles, including internationally banned cluster bombs, are falling on residential areas in Kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities. The situation is difficult. Ukraine is struggling, but it needs support”, wrote President Andrzej Duda on Twitter. On February 28, the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova, declared that Russia had used a vacuum bomb during the invasion of Ukraine on Monday.

    The Russians “have today used a vacuum bomb that is banned under the Geneva Convention”, said Ukraine’s ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova, as she conveyed information to members of the US Congress. “The damage Russia is doing in Ukraine is enormous”, she added.  

     

    Polish President Andrzej Duda also reports on the illegal weapons used by Russia during the attack on Ukraine. 

     

     

    “President Zelenskyy and I have just discussed the situation in Ukraine. Russian missiles and missiles, including internationally banned cluster bombs, fall on residential areas of Kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities. The situation is difficult. Ukraine is fighting, but it needs support,” he wrote.

    Foreign authorities reported that the city of Ochtyrka in the Sumsk region of northeastern Ukraine was destroyed by bombs or thermobaric (or vacuum) missiles. It is a highly destructive weapon used against soldiers hiding in buildings and fortifications.

     

    In recent days, it has been reported in the media that Russian TOS-1 rocket launchers have been sighted in eastern Ukraine carrying thermobaric bombs. They were seen in the vicinity of Kharkiv, among other places.
