Nine people were killed by a Russian missile attack at the International Centre for Peace and Security Operations in the Lviv region. After the incident, Ukrainian Defense Minister Aleksei Reznikov once again called for the closure of the skies over Ukraine. The tragedy took place less than 30 kilometres from the Polish border.

The centre is located in the Lviv region, near Javorov, about 57 km west of Lviv and 29 km from the Ukrainian border with Poland.
“The occupiers began an airstrike on the International Peace and Security Centre, according to initial reports, eight missiles were fired. Information on the victims shall be collected,” informed the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Twitter.
According to initial findings, eight missiles landed at the centre.
