Demonstration in front of the German Embassy in Warsaw on Wednesday

Next Wednesday, March 23, at 6 p. m., there will be a demonstration in front of the German Embassy in Warsaw. “We demand that Berlin stop supporting Putin and his criminals,” says Tomasz Sakiewicz, editor-in-chief of “Gazeta Polska” and “Gazeta Polska Codziennie.”

The war in Ukraine is taking its toll. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of our eastern neighbour, 115 children have been killed and more than 140 injured.

“On Wednesday at 6 p. m., we will hold a demonstration in front of the German Embassy in Warsaw. We demand that Berlin stop supporting Putin and his criminals. Thanks to the blocking of real sanctions by the Germans, women and children are dying in Ukraine,” Tomasz Sakiewicz said.

“It was German policy that made Putin’s army arm. German policy made Putin’s army believe that an attack on Ukraine would go unpunished. Germany blocked weapons deliveries to Ukraine until the last hour before the war began, and today it is sending rusted-out equipment that endangers the lives of the defenders,” he added.

“We want to awaken the conscience of our Western neighbours. Do they want to be an accomplice to the third world war in a century? We invite all patriotic and democratic circles; Gazeta Polska Clubs, Solidarność, our brothers from Ukraine,” Sakiewicz concluded.
