According to analysts, the Russian army has lost 530 tanks since the beginning of the war, while the armed forces of Ukraine have lost 74 of their own, but have captured 117 enemy tanks, reports the American “Forbes.” The Ukrainian army now has 43 more tanks than at the beginning of the war.
“Ukraine has lost at least 74 tanks—destroyed or captured—since Russia widened its war on the country starting the night of Feb. 23. But Ukraine has captured at least 117 Russian tanks, according to open-source-intelligence analysts who scrutinize photos and videos on social media,” David Axe, “Forbes” journalist wrote on Thursday (March 24) in his article.
“The Ukrainian army might actually have more tanks now than a month ago – all without building a single brand-new tank or pulling some older vehicle out of storage,” Axe noted, citing the open-source intelligence analysts.

The Russians captured at least 37 Ukrainian tanks and lost about 274.
It is worth noting that it is not known how many of these tanks are useable, because as we can see, many tanks are being hauled by tractors or stolen by gypsies or youngsters.
