Both the Polish and the Chinese national teams had won 4 games before they met on Thursday in Katowice. However, the Chinese team strengthened with twelve players from the USA and Canada won the gold medal on the Jantor ice rink and now is a part of the top division.
Klaudia Chrapek has already played 100 matches for the National Team and the one on Thursday was her 101stgame. The 2 goals during the game were scored by her. The fans also rooted for Martyna Sass the goalkeeper who defended brilliantly in the second and third periods of the match. Sass was voted the tournament’s best goalkeeper. Eventually, the Chinese women won 7: 2.
