Our Polish volleyball players won CEV Champions League Volley 2022 twice in a row! They defeated the Trentino Volley professional Italian team. Kamil Semeniuk was the MVP of the game!
The first set point was scored after a time out for Grupa Azoty KĘDZIERZYN-KOŹLE at 23-22 and then a rapid lead with a high spike by Smith (24-22). ZAKSA quickly reached the set point again 19-24 But Trentino didn’t let them pass (21-24), and then Kaczmarech brought the second set to his team. The third set was a complete battle: Semeniuk score one more point (27-28), Kazyiski followed (28-28), then Semeniuk continued to score (29-28), and the two teams went head-to-head. Poland won the Champions League three times. The first victory belongs to Płomień MILOWICE in (1977/78) in the Champions Cup – the previous edition of the Champions League. Then, the first place was won by Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn last season and they do it again in the recent tournament! We are proud of our volleyball players and wish lots of victories in the future! Winning streak carries on!
