Day 105 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. There is fierce fighting in the vicinity of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk and Popasna and an increasing threat to Odessa from missile strikes and landings from ships from Russia’s Black Sea fleet. The Ukrainian prosecutor’s office has launched the “book of executioners,” a system for collecting evidence of war crimes.
The Russians are unable to get closer to Lisiczańsk, which is why they are shelling the city en masse. Severodonetsk is said to be occupied by June 10th. In order to capture the city and cross the road from Lysychansk to Bachmut, the Russians are drawing on a large amount of technology and soldiers.
