The Russians are deploying additional rocket artillery batteries along the Ukrainian borders. Another battery of S-300WM anti-aircraft systems has been placed in the direction of Mykolayiv to cover areas of concentration of the armament and military equipment.
“The combat readiness of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus is being checked in the Volyn and Polissya areas. According to the available information, military meetings with conscripts are planned to be held in the Gomel region from June 28 to July 16 this year,” General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed.

“In the Kryvyi Rih direction, the enemy, to strengthen its units, moved to a certain area to one battalion tactical group. In the Mykolayiv direction, to cover areas of concentration of the armament and military equipment, the aggressor in addition developed the S-300VM anti-aircraft missile battery,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported today.
In a message published on Facebook, the staff reported that the Russians “moved up to two battalion tactical groups from the Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions to the Novopavlivsk direction.” The Russians are continuing their assault on Lysychansk (Luhansk region), aiming to encircle it. In the direction of Bakhmut, “there is an offensive in the directions of Midna Ruda – Klynove. It is partially successful; it is fixed in the northern part of Klynove and near the E-40 highway.”
The Russians are now trying to create conditions for a further assault on Slovyansk and Barvinkove. They are shelling Ukrainian positions in the area and redeploying equipment and weaponry to the area, the staff reported.
The Russians have also deployed batteries of “Grad” rocket launchers in the Sumy direction.
“To fire at the border areas of Sumy oblast, the deployment of “Grad” multiple rocket launchers in the immediate vicinity of the state border of Ukraine was noted,” we can read in the report.
