He started as an amateur who wanted to quit smoking but his sports career has developed significantly better and faster than expected. The murderous challenge of the five-time Ironman in Colmar was faced by 14 athletes from 8 countries around the world. Poland was represented by two athletes in this group – 36-year-old Adrian Kostera and 47-year-old Rafał Godzwon.
Rafał Godzwon is still on the route of the cross-country stage. If he maintains his good form, the Poles will take the first two places on the podium.
