A very impressive swimming performance of our Polish team on the first day of European Para Youth Games in Pajulahti, Finland! The swimmers won 6 medals! Congratulations!
The European Para Youth Games is an international, competitive, multi-sport competition for athletes with a disability that reflects the highest standards of athletic excellence, Paralympic values and diversity. The goal of the Youth Regional Programme is to provide exciting and inspiring events, as well as to help develop the Paralympic Movement and encourage younger athletes to do Paralympic Sport to achieve competitive excellence while engaging an entertaining spectators.
The competitions include various sports, such as athletics, swimming, boccia, goalball, table tennis, wheelchair basketball, judo, and showdown. Taking into consideration all medals that have been won since the competition started, Poland is in 6th place in the classification:

Zuzanna Boruszewska won a silver medal in 100m Breaststroke and a gold medal in 50m Freestyle
Nikola Badowska won a silver medal in 400m Freestyle and gold medal in 50m Freestyle
Alicja Piec won a gold medal in 100m Breaststroke
Oliwier Krzyszkowski won a bronze medal in 100m Backstroke
