    Volleyball Nations League: Poles defeated China! Amazing emotions!

    Poles in the second match of the third round of the Nations League tournament. After a difficult start of the first set, the Poles beat China 3:0 in beautiful style at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk.

     

    The first set belonged to the Chinese. The Polish team did not finish the actions. There were a lot of serving mistakes and by the technical break the Poles were losing 6:12. However, the Poles tried to make up for the loss and at the end of the set, Fornal beautifully served 3 service aces, and then the Chinese picked up a serve but were unable to bring the action to an end. The Poles won the first set at 26:24.

     

    At the beginning of the second set, both teams went head-to-head. When Kochanowski started serving, the Poles started to increase their lead. By the technical break, the Poles were leading 12:7. For the rest of the set, the white-and-reds maintained their lead. Towards the end of the set, Bieniek came in and immediately served two aces. It was thanks to him that the Poles won the second set. 

     

    The third set started with a slight advantage for China. The Poles quickly caught up. By the technical break, the Poles had a slight lead (12:10). The Poles mobilised incredibly in the third set and did not allow the Chinese to gain an advantage. The Poles won the whole match 3:0 in beautiful style.
