Live Furniture Factory returns after a two-year break. One of the most spectacular events at the “Drema International Trade Fair of Machines, Tools, and Components” will once again support those in need. There could be only one goal this year – helping children from country weakened by war.
Live Furniture Factory is back!
During DREMA 2022 in Poznań (September 13-16), we will transform one of the main halls of the Poznań International Fair into a spectacular production hall presenting modern woodworking machines. On 4 days, students from the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań will prepare cabinets and beds under the watchful eye of professionals. The furniture will be produced and packed immediately, because all of them will go to Ukrainian children who are staying in orphanages in Ukraine or Poland.

And today we recollect the Live Furniture Factory 2016!
This year, the factory event will operate under the slogan “Drema for children from Ukraine”. Furniture produced during the 4 days of the event will go to Education and Rehabilitation Center “Dream” in Lviv, where children from orphanages in Lugansk and Donetsk are currently staying.
Organizers plan to produce of 30 sets of furniture for a children’s room.
An example set includes:
– bed with a mattress,
– wardrobe and underwear wardrobe,
– wall shelves.
The participants will be able to see the live production process, for example, making furniture boards, wrapping narrow planes, refining the surface of wooden elements, assembling, segregating fittings, and packing components.
“Because the furniture produced during the “Drema” event will go straight to Ukraine, we are going to produce and pack the furniture and its elements. Live Furniture Factory is a charity website of “Drema”. As in previous years, we declare full openness to the needs of companies and organizations that will join the “Drema for children from Ukraine” campaign.”, organizers say.
