One of Poland’s leading gaming companies, SimFabric, debuts on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange today, August 12. The company has been listed on the NewConnect market since 2020.
SimFabric’s planned debut is part of the trend of dynamic development of the gaming sector on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, which has been observed for several years. Indeed, the company will already be the 20th listed entity on the WSE’s Main Market from an industry that is gradually becoming one of the engine rooms for the Polish economy.
SimFabric was founded in 2016 after its founders received the ESA (European Space Agency) grand prize in a competition for the best space application. The company is active in the video game market, specializing in porting (remaking versions of games or simulators from one platform to another) for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and desktop consoles, as well as creating original titles (including the Farm&Fix series, Moon Village, House Designer).
The company also has its R&D department conducting work on innovative, proprietary solutions in the area of game production and IT services, relying on the support of European Funds and institutional contractors.
In 2020, the company debuted on the NewConnect market. It helped it mature in terms of organization and business, and gain credibility in the eyes of potential investors.
Only in the second quarter of 2022, the company generated PLN 2.4 million in revenue, PLN 1.4 million in EBITDA and PLN 1 million in net profit. Its value is currently estimated at PLN 68 million.
