    Munich 2022: Kaczmarek, Kiełbasińska and Różanska with medals!

    Three medals for three female representatives of Poland on Wednesday evening at the European Athletics Championships. The silver in the 400m run was won by Natalia Kaczmarek, and Anna Kiełbasińska reached for the bronze. A big surprise was the success of Ewa Różanska, who was second in the hammer throw.

    Ewa Różanska surprised everybody at the European Athletics Championships in Munich. The Pole reached for the silver medal in the hammer throw and, in the process, improved her record.

     

    The 21-year-old, making her debut at an event of this rank in the finals of the hammer throw, set her record and sensationally reached for the silver medal with a result of 72.12. Różanska lost only 60 centimetres to gold.

     

     

    Natalia Kaczmarek reached the silver at the European Championships in the 400-meter run. Anna Kiełbasińska stood on the third step of the podium in Munich. Dutchwoman Femke Bol, on the other hand, was unrivalled.

     

    Two Polish women stand on the podium of the European Athletics Championships after the 400-meter run. Silver for Natalia Kaczmarek, and bronze for Anna Kiełbasińska. Eighth place in the final was taken by Iga Baumgart Witan, and the gold medal went to the favourite – Femke Bol, who, by the way, set a European championship record with a great result of 49.44.
