Great news from Einsiedeln! Nicole Konderla is going down in history as the first Polish ski jumper to win two FIS competitions in one day. Adam Małysz and Kamil Stoch cannot boast about such a result.
The 20-year-old from Wisła is the first Pole with two victories in an International Ski Federation (FIS) ranked competition in one day.
Przed tygodniem Nicole Konderla po raz pierwszy w karierze stanęła na podium w zawodach FIS Cup. Dzisiaj po raz pierwszy triumfowała w zawodach tej rangi.

Konderla flew by far the farthest in Saturday’s second competition. Attempts on 109 and 109.5 metres gave her another third league triumph. She was followed by Riko Sakurai. The lowest step of the podium was taken by the hosts’ representative Emely Torazza (100.5 and 98.5 metres). The Pole could also raise her hands in triumph a moment earlier (107.5 m and 97.5 m).
With her two victories on Saturday, Poland became the new leader of the overall FIS Cup women’s competition in the season 2022/2023. In a week, the ladies will fight for the podium on the 109 m hill in Kranj, Slovenia.
