Dawid Kubacki won the competition in Klingenthal and the overall classification of the summer Grand Prix in ski jumping. The second place on Sunday went to Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi and the third place went to Norway’s Daniel Andre Tande.
Dawid Kubacki confirmed with the final event of the Summer Grand Prix on Sunday how excellently he is performing in this phase of the ski jumping season. After the competition in Klingenthal, he became the record-holder in terms of “summer” competition wins.
Kubacki jumped 135m and 138m, Kobayashi jumped 139.5m and 131m, while Tande jumped 144m and 126m.

Four of the six Poles who competed on Sunday advanced to the second round. Kacper Juroszek was 13th (125.5 and 126.5 m) and Stefan Hula was 24th (122.5 and 126.5 m).
Pawel Wąsek jumped 125 m in the first round but was disqualified after his second jump, so he finished 30th.
Klemens Murańka jumped on 117m and finished 36th, and Piotr Zyla landed half a meter closer and was 39th.
